If you are considering joining the Armed Forces, then our OASC Preparation Course is for you. Your training will be undertaken by a former member of the Royal Air Force and offers a unique course, covering all aspects of the Officer Aircrew selection process. You’ll undergo full interview, group exercise, command exercise and group planning training as well as discussing your military knowledge. We'll also talk through the UK Defence structure and your future role. Current Affairs will also be discussed and tested to the required selection standard.
You will receive impartial and honest training that will test your interview technique, explore your Officer qualities and test your leadership attributes. We will provide training to develop all these areas to ensure that you are fully prepared for the rigorous military selection process of the Royal Navy, Army or Royal Air Force.
Your course will run from approximately 0900 until 1630. We hold the majority of our OASC preparation courses at The Beehive near London Gatwick. Our team will have already reviewed your client questionnaire helping us to tailor the day specifically to your individual needs.
In the morning, after a short introduction over coffee, you will partake in a range of group exercises, planning tasks as well as complete a full 1 to 1 officer pilot interview with one of our former Military Pilots. After lunch, we will present a number of extremely useful training seminars so that you are equipped with the skills to succeed in your forthcoming Military selection process. You will leave us feeling more confident in all of the selection areas.
There will be many opportunities throughout the course to ask any questions and our instructors will be on hand to provide additional support if required. Within 7 days we will email you a personalised feedback report outlining your performance, highlighting your strengths and weaknesses, and which skills you should focus on to complete your forthcoming assessments successfully. Before the course you will receive a short questionnaire to complete. Please ensure this is filled in at least 48 hours beforehand - this will help us tailor the day to your specific needs. Although the day is relatively informal compared to your forthcoming selection process, we ask that you dress in smart casual attire.
